Mod Baby Bod was created by a new mother; Serina, a Fernie area native, with the intent on providing modern and Eco-friendly baby products. Mod Baby Bod Provides a variety of products that are organic, biodegradable, lead, phthalate and BPA free, Canadian made/manufactured and supports small and local businesses. There are also a variety of modern and trendy goods for mothers and babies that try to make life easier and more fun!
It all started when she was pregnant with her first child and found herself doing hours of research trying to find safe and affordable products for her baby with the environment in mind. She found that there were great products out there but not all were easily accessible. She often found herself buying things from a number of different stores and sites and felt that this was a great opportunity to provide a few necessities during pregnancy and once the little bundle(s) has arrived, all on one convenient easy to navigate website.
Mod Baby Bod carries products that are part of the 1% for the planet, Health Ranger 2007 recipents, and a number of Parent Magazine features. Our goal is to maintain an eco-friendly attitude and does so with a variety of recycled, energy efficient and biodegradable office supplies. Shipping supplies are also recycled, recyclable, and re-use boxes when possible. All gift wrap is recycled from post- consumer materials, chlorine free, recycled, recyclable and/or biodegradable.
